Claire, la petite amie de Thomas, prend progressivement ses distances vis-à-vis de ce dernier. Les deux frères finissent par passer l'essentiel de leur temps ensemble et se remémorent des souvenirs de leur enfance.

In Paris, Thomas is suffering from an incurable disease that destroys his blood platelets which forces him to go on very strict medical attention. One night, his brother Luc whom he has not seen in many years, panics as he visits him witnessing the seriousness of the symptoms. Pushed to the limit by the progress of illness, both men are finally going to devote themselves to each other. For the first time, Thomas seems to feel interested about the private life of Luc as a homosexual. Claire, Thomas' girlfriend, takes her distance from him whilst both brothers end up crossing the bulk of their time together and recollect the memories of their childhood.

Soldier's Girl (2003)

A group of soldiers in the Deep South take vengeance against one of their own when word circulates that he's become involved with a transgender nightclub performer in this drama based on a true story. Barry Winchell (Troy Garity) was a young man with an educational disability who volunteered for the United States Army and found himself stationed in Tennessee, where he soon struck up a friendship with Justin Fisher (Shawn Hatosy), a high-strung fellow GI with a drug problem. One night with nothing to do, Winchell and Fisher tagged along with a group of soldiers who ended up taking in a drag show at a bar in Nashville. One of the performers on the bill that night was Calpernia Addams (Lee Pace), a transsexual and former combat medic in the Navy who was a veteran of the Gulf War before taking the first steps towards sexual reassignment. While Winchell, who was straight, was aware that Addams was at least partially still male, he found himself attracted to her for her intelligence and sensitivity, while she found herself similarly drawn to him. As Winchell and Addams' mutual attraction grew into a romance, the unstable Fisher found himself increasingly confused and angry with Winchell, and he struck back by spreading rumors that one of the men in their company was gay, with fingers soon pointing towards Winchell. Despite the Army's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, the company's drill sergeant (Barclay Hope) took it upon himself to find and remove the gay soldier in his ranks, while the increasingly vicious Fisher aligned himself with Calvin Glover (Philip Eddolls), a young and narrow minded recruit eager to strike out with violence against those different from himself.

A teacher takes on the corrupt leadership of an Irish reform school in this drama based on a true story. William Franklin (Aidan Quinn) is a teacher who was born in Ireland and moved to the United States only to repatriate in 1939 after his leftist political views cause him to lose his job. But Franklin comes to believe the students are being treated with excessive force, with many of the children severely punished for trivial violations of the rules, and some treated as delinquents for the crime of not having parents. As Franklin campaigns for more humane treatment of his charges, he makes a powerful enemy in Brother John, who responds to Franklin's reform efforts with greater vehemence against the students, in particular Liam Mercier 636 (John Travers), an inquisitive child who has become a favorite of Franklin. Franklin's distrust of Brother John's regime reaches a high point when he learns that Patrick Delaney 743 (Chris Newman) was sexually assaulted by Brother Mac (Marc Warren), one of the clerics.

In spite of all the problems, the doctor soon realises that the prisoners are not devilish figures as there is solidarity, organization and a great will to survive.
